On June 1, 1998, Ryan E. Aupperle joined Heartland Ag Group, Ltd as a farm manager and a real estate professional. Heartland Ag Group is a premier provider of specialized services, information, and agricultural expertise in Forsyth, Illinois.
Ryan grew up just north of Forsyth in Forsyth, Illinois, Macon County, with its prime farmland and grain processing industry is the agribusiness capital of the world. After graduation from Maroa-Forsyth High School, he successfully pursued a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois - graduating in 1998.
Agricultural Economics, Finance, Real Estate and Agronomy were the focus of Ryan's advanced education. While at the University of Illinois, he joined the Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) Fraternity and served as the chapter's Noble Ruler in 1996. He was also a 3-year member of the Student Advancement Committee to the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences. Ryan is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
